The main goal of the international youth summer camp is the interchange between the different nationalities. So, we had the idea to create four workshops on this project.
Right now, what we would like to give you is an overlook about what is happening. I went to the Hip Hop group. All participants shown a great enthusiasm and everyone made an effort to give their best so that the final project could be a great show. This first session was enriched by the presentation of the participants and their contact with dance.
Tamsyn, one of the participants of this group said: “I’m really enjoying this group. However, the movements are a little bit fast which can make the coregraphy a bit hard to learn”.
After this, I went to the graffiti group. Sveni, a german girl, informed: “I’m enjoying the graffiti group, it’s very funny. We have the freedom to spray the boards the way we like most!”. She also refered “At the same time, it’s difficult to learn this activity because we don’t know how the cans will react! The graffiti we see in Berlin is not easy to make and so we have to practise for a long time.”
